News from the Front
Just letting you know Dogs are allowed if kept on lead. Be aware there will be bangs at times though.
Friday the 14th August at the show this year is going to be a bargain.
Down as a rehearsal day, Friday is generally a quieter day but where everything is up and running but not a huge crowd of people. So, if you don’t like crowds but want the experience then Friday is your day.
There will be music and dancing in the cabaret club. 90 percent of the re enactor groups will be there. With hundreds of displays.
The Tea rooms, sweet shop and food vendors including the Beer tent will be open.
One of the best things about Friday is the Tank Rides will be open! At only £10 per ride and £10 entry to the show. £20 for a tank ride experience is huge value for money. With also the benefit of not having lengthy queues which happens on Saturday and Sunday.
There will be an events program on Friday as well but the only major thing is that there will be no main Arena Battle. There will be line ups in the arena and smaller displays. Also, the Helicopters may not be there on the Friday.
More plusses though. It will be the first day of opening ever of our own Vintage Shop “Nukes and Knickers” which will be located in Talbot Square (1940s section). You will be the first to see the amazing things which we will have on sale!
