What Can the Kids do?
Children’s Discovery trail
This is something wonderful created by the Re enactors themselves. This Discovery trail starts at the front reception as you enter. Children are given a Discovery card which has blank spaces on it where stamps would go. The children can take this card and see if they can discover where all the stamps are on site. They will be able to pick up clues on the way by re enactors giving them little bits of history on the way. The kids get a great experience doing this and actually learn quite a lot on the way. It went down really well last year.

Kids Craft
In Talbot Square in the 1940s section is the Village Hall.
This is where the Kids craft is taking place. Children must accompanied by an adult.
The children get to take pat in all sorts of arts and crafts which are 1940s related. Make their own Gas mask box.
There is also a dressing up box where they can get dressed up like 1940s children.

Tank Rides
One of the amazing experiences here we can offer are tank rides at only £10 per person. This is incredible value for money. There is a minimum height requirement of 120cm
Vintage Sweet Shop.
I know we should be careful with sweets. Your on Holiday ! xx
In Talbot square we have a vintage sweet shop where you can buy sweets from a Jar and weighed out in front of you. Just like the old days.

Liberation Parade
This is something for all people. supervision is required for children. This was a concept born by Dick Dalton two years ago. It is to give people a taste of what it was like to see the liberating troops freeing the towns of Northern France. Here at the show is this amazing experience. You will be in Talbot square where you will join Civilian Re enactors. As the troops pass (there are hundreds of them), you can hand over fake flowers to the soldiers. This is actually quite an emotional experience.
